Hiking & BBQ on 2013-01-01 (TUE)

Assembly time: 0705 hours
Assembly venue: Bus route no. 9 Shau Kei Wan Terminal (Shau Kei Wan MTR A3 Exit)
Dress code: 229 outdoor Polo shirt, long loose trousers (no tight jeans), hiking/sports shoes
We will take the 0715 hours bus, debus at Big Wave Bay Road/Shek O Road & walk Hong Kong Trail Section 8 & 7 backwards to Tai Tam. Will have BBQ at Tai Tam Scout Centre from 1300-1600 hours. Thereafter a coach bus will take us back to Shau Kei Wan MTR. Things to bring: MUST: at least 2 litre water, Silva compass (map will be provided to U on the day), whistle, snacks & emergency foods (like chocolate, energy bar, etc.), windbreaker, raincoat/rain gear, eating utensils for BBQ (like knife & fork, etc.)
Things to bring: Optional: hat, hiking stick, camera, warm jacket, pen & paper, multi-use pocket knife. (Put everything in your rucksack)
