Meeting Program on 2012-12-01 SAT

Regular meeting at HKUGA campus this SAT. Hope you can learn more knots to prepare for some bigger stuff for poineering. Please also mark your diary for these coming events: (a) 8 DEC – sworn-in ceremony. You only swear in once for being a scout in your life time so this is an important event for you. Please buy & prepare all the gears you need (scout uniform, socks, black leather shoes, green beret, purple membership badge, HK badge, HK Island badge). The 229 red/yellow scarf, 229 shoulder ribbon badge & Wanchai District badge will be provided to you by 229 on 8 DEC. Your parents/fans are also welcome to join the ceremony. (b) 14-16 DEC – Xmas camp, this time we will go with the cubs. A coach bus will depart HKUGA campus at about 1715 hours on 14 DEC (FRI) with all camping gears. We’ll have BBQ with the cubs that night. On 15 & 16 DEC, we will have Carlton style inter patrol competition while the cubs are doing someting else. We’ll have campfire (with real burning firewood) on 15 DEC night. We’ll leave campsite at about 1300 hours on 16 DEC. For those who can’t meet the coach on 14 DEC evening, we’ll sort it out this SAT.
