Dear Scouts
As alluded to you in my earlier email on Dec 31, my role in 229 would change in the New Year. I have resigned as Scout Leader due to other commitments, and would instead take up position as Assistant Scout Leader. This change has been accepted by Benny Sir & Ray Sir and takes immediate effect.
In my place, you would be pleased to learn that Tony Sir has agreed to take up the position as Scout Leader, on top of his existing duty as Venture Scout Leader.
Please join me in congratulating Tony in his new position.
I would not be able to attend as many scout meetings as before, but would try to assist whenever I can. In the past 5 months, I really enjoyed seeing you progress on the wonderful path of scouting adventure. Many of you have listened to me and to other fellow leaders in carrying out the various instructions and duties assigned to you. In particular, I would like to thank

and all the PLs and APLs.
You have been helpful & conscientious, and have set fine examples to your fellow scouts.
And to all Scouts, I am proud of you and hope you would continue to always try your best in all your scouting activities. The rewards will be bountiful! Finally, Ｉ hope many of you would attempt to apply for the progressive badges and, eventually, the Chief Scout Award, for the learning experience and for the honor.
