Re: Optional Event: Outing on Dec 4 Sunday – 香港大學畢業同學會冬日山頂悠行
Our sponsor body, the HKUGA is organizing a casual walk from the Peak to the HKU morning of Dec 4. Besides showing support to our sponsor body, it is an interesting event since the trail takes us through beautiful scenery and ends up visiting the University Lodge . If you are lucky, may be you can chat with HKU chancellor, Professor Tsui. In any event you would be able to enjoy free refreshment. University of HK has been gaining in international reputation thanks to its many distinguished and diligent graduates, staff and faculty. In its centenary, this presents a good opportunity to appreciate the University from a leisurely perspective. Some of you may very well end up studying here in a few years time!
It’s a fund raising event. However, as you may know, it is not allowed for scouts to raise funds for any party/organization except for scout association itself. So, with consent of our sponsor, it is not required or it is not permitted for us to participate in the fund raising part.
Pls check your email and reply by Wednesday Nov 30 if you will join the event and pass the signed consent to me (hard or soft) not later than Saturday Dec 3. Pls be reminded again that you will not be allowed to join any outing event without the parent consent form. Please wear your Yellow T shirt for this activity.
