Dear scouts,
We will have backwoods cooking this Saturday, 2010-03-13. Details are:
Assembly time: 1400 hours
Assembly place: BBQ site at Police College, Wong Chuk Hang (see attached map)
If you come by bus, alight at the 1st bus stop after Aberdeen Tunnel and walk about 10 minutes. If you come by car, use Police College main entrance at Ocean Park Road. If you are asked by the guard room, just tell them you are coming for the BBQ site.
Dress code: 229 outdoor uniform
Express Convoy of Gears:
If you need to pick up gears (bamboo poles, etc.) from the storeroom at HKUGA College, please assemble at the College at 1315 hours. Tony CHAN can transport your gears to Police College by his little car while you walk over there yourselves.
What to bring:
ALL you need for team backwoods cooking.
REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS AND EATING WARE.
Estimated time to stand down: About 1800 hours (so you really need to finish in about 3 and a half hours, and allow half an hour to tidy up.)
Side Activities:
If time permits, we will do:
(a) Making of the diamond kite, each patrol pls bring:
– 白膠漿 and adhesive tape
– scissors, cutter and cutting board
(b) Natural water filter, each patrol pls bring:
– one 1.25 litre bottle
– first aid kit which must contain cotton wool and gauze pads
– a pair of scissors or a cutter
